Queerstory App Launched at Toronto’s World Pride!

Posted by on Jun 27, 2014

YZO has launched it’s free locative app Queerstory just in time for World Pride in Toronto! The self directed walking tour app contains 47 short mini-docs and media artworks at over 30 Points of Interest covering a century of Toronto’s colourful LGBTQ history.

Meander through two queer sites where performance artist Keith Cole and new media artist Caitlin Fisher lead you on their mediated interpretations of queer history. Discover excerpts of documentaries from queer Canadian filmmakers David Adkin, Lynne Fernie, Harry Sutherland and David Secter embedded along points in the tour.
