In the 1988 Aids Action Now (AAN) held their landmark demonstration at the Toronto General Hospital to protest the drug trials that were playing Russian roulette with AIDS patients and delaying the release of Pentamidine, a life-saving medicine that was already tested and approved by the FDA.
